What is cryotherapy?

Cryotherapy is a procedure where a cold gas is used to freeze the tissue, thereby destroying it.

At Twacha Skin and Hair Clinic, we use liquid nitrogen gas for cryotherapy as a treatment modality of common benign skin problems like warts, keloids, molluscum contagiosum and pyogenic granuloma.

What are the uses of cryotherapy?

Cryotherapy is used for the treatment of 

- Warts 

- Molluscum contagiosum

- Pyogenic granuloma

- Keloids

- Seborrhoeic keratosis or age spots

What are the side effects of cryotherapy?

- Blister formation

- Hypopigmentation 

Both are temporary and will not cause long term side effects
